Mensuration, Chums, Down Time, ‘That time of the month’ etc. is really a tough time for the fairer sex. Your body is going through a phenomenal time and the hormones are all messed up. From resting to putting hot water bottles on the stomach, you have literally tried everything to ease the pain. However, when nothing works, FOOD helps! Food is the only comforting thing in the whole wide world. Period. Yes, during periods too. What is your go-to comfort food while your ovaries squeeze your life out of your body? While we women bleed for 5 days straight or more, we NEED nutrients to survive. And with nutrients, I don’t mean carbs, protein, and blah blah. Who cares what nutrients the meal has or the number of calories?
